San Diego in August

“I have only to break into the tightness of a strawberry, and I see summer – its dust and lowering skies.”

-Toni Morrison

San Diego is such a beautiful city with so much to see and so much to do!

August can be San Diego’s hottest month of the year, but it’s still quite pleasant with temperatures in the mid to high 70s. Surfing season in full effect!

All of summer is a busy tourist time in San Diego because of its many family-oriented attractions, but the crowds get even worse toward the end of the summer when visitors from Phoenix and other hotter places head to San Diego to escape the heat. So keep in mind when you are planning a trip to Legoland, Sea World and more!

Each month I have special fun events I want to show you so that you get the most out of this beautiful city!
