San Diego in March

“Autumn arrives in the early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day.”

— Elizabeth Bowen

San Diego is such a beautiful city with so much to see and so much to do!

March is a great month to visit San Diego since the morning sea fog often gives way to a bright and sunny afternoon. As the region’s foliage begins to turn green and bloom, the winter rains begin to fade. The coast’s temperatures are usually warm during this month, but a bright, high-pressure day might make it feel like summer.

March weather is ever-changing, cold one second, warm the next. A jacket is still necessary for the late afternoon and evenings, but it’s starting to warm up. Spring break and tourism start towards the end of the month, so the beach will be getting a little more full, and events will be happening throughout the county.

Each month I have special fun events I want to show you so that you get the most out of this beautiful city!
