San Diego is so close to so many getaways. Looking for a day trip? Head northeast to Big Bear Mountain for the snow in winter. In the fall, drive an hour east to Julian for some excellent apple pie and Autumn Fun. During the summer, of course, there are the beaches or head up the coast to do some wine tasting. Looking for a quick getaway? Head south, to Mexico, full of so many activities and fun!
