San Diego in March 2023
―April Mae Monterrosa
“New month, new intentions, new goals, new love, new light, and new beginnings.”
San Diego is such a beautiful city with so much to see and so much to do!
Visitors swarm to San Diego in March each spring to take advantage of the pleasant weather and seasonal change. The rain in Southern California begins to diminish during this month before ceasing entirely. If you arrive early, most tourist attractions are still quite empty. The city and the beaches, on the other hand, frequently become overrun with tourists as the month wears on and college breaks conclude. If you decide to go swimming or surfing in the ocean, you’ll need to carry your wetsuit, but only a light jacket will do for a daytime stroll along the shore. The Carlsbad Flower Fields will make you feel like summer; after that, wrap up for a voyage out to sea to see the whales.
Did you know that one of the greatest seasons to visit San Diego is from March through May? Less crowds imply better parking, more open bookings, and the ability to avoid lengthy waits. Days may be warm, and evenings may be chilly so you get the best of both worlds.
Each month I have special fun events I want to show you so that you get the most out of this beautiful city!
