San Diego is such a beautiful city with so much to see and so much to do!

San Diego is a lovely month to visit in May, with sunny skies and moderate temperatures. A couple of major holidays make San Diego a fun place to go in May. The better-known is Memorial Day which is the last Monday in May, creating a three-day weekend.

Ramona Rodeo

Cowboys will compete for cash prices in barrel racing, tie-down roping, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, and bareback riding.

Legacy Week

The activities range from a Wreath Memorial ceremony, benefit concert, family activities, blood drive, interactive exhibits and more— each element designed to honor and remember our heroes and celebrate our military heritage.

Annual Butterfly Release

The Friends of Balboa Park will celebrate the beginning of Spring by bringing in 400 live Painted Lady butterflies into the garden to encourage pollination in beautiful Balboa Park.

Vista Strawberry Festival

Live entertainment on multiple stages, local craft brews, and carnival rides all day long! Contests like Little Ms. Strawberry Shortcake,
