San Diego in November
“Some of the days in November carry the whole memory of summer as a fire opal carries the color of moonrise.”
–Gladys Taber
San Diego is such a beautiful city with so much to see and so much to do!
November is San Diego’s odd month, meaning we don’t see a lot of tourism, and then we have a crazy Thanksgiving week. Early in the month is a great time to visit if you want to enjoy the attractions without elbowing your way through the crowds. Those quiet conditions will continue through the middle of the month. After that, things get busy. Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday of November, and many people also get the following Friday off from work, which gives them a four-day holiday.
Each month I have special fun events I want to show you so that you get the most out of this beautiful city!
